When switching to the new farm, one possbile timesaver is tranferring your web browser bookmarks, rather than setting them up manually again. If you only have a handfull of bookmarks, it may be easier to set them up one at a time again. If you have a bunch, this will definitely save you time. To do this, you export from the old farm, and import to the new farm as instructed below.
📤 How to Export/Import Bookmarks into Chrome
You can use the HTML file you exported to restore your bookmarks or transfer them to a different Chrome installation.

Open Chrome on the computer where you want to import the bookmarks.

Click the three-dot menu (Customize and control Google Chrome) in the top-right corner.

Hover over Bookmarks and then click Import bookmarks and settings.

In the pop-up window:

From the dropdown menu, select Bookmarks HTML File.

Click the Choose File button.

Navigate to the location where you saved your exported HTML file, select it, and click Open.

Click Done to complete the import.
Note: If you already had bookmarks in Chrome, your newly imported bookmarks will typically appear in a new folder on your Bookmarks Bar, often named "Imported" or "Other bookmarks." You can then drag and drop them to reorganize them as needed.
📥 How to Export Favorites from Microsoft Edge
Exporting your Favorites saves them as an HTML file, which you can use to back them up or move them to another browser.

Open Microsoft Edge on your computer.

Click the Favorites icon (it looks like a star ⭐) in the top-right corner, next to the address bar.

In the Favorites menu that appears, click the three-dot menu (...) near the top right of the menu.

Select Export favorites.

A Save As window will open. Choose a location on your computer (like your Desktop or Downloads folder), give the HTML file a name (e.g.,
Edge_Favorites_Backup.html), and click Save.
Your Favorites are now saved in an HTML file!
📤 How to Import Favorites into Microsoft Edge
You can use the HTML file you exported to restore your Favorites or transfer them from another browser (like Chrome or Firefox) into Edge.

Open Microsoft Edge on the computer where you want to import the Favorites.

Click the Settings and more menu (the three-dot menu ...) in the top-right corner of the main browser window.

Go to Settings.

In the left sidebar, click Profiles, then select Import browser data.

Alternatively, a quicker route: Click the Favorites icon (star ⭐), click the three-dot menu (...) in the menu, and select Import favorites.

In the import dialog box that appears:

Under the Import from dropdown menu, select Favorites or bookmarks HTML file.

Click the Choose file button.

Navigate to the location where you saved your exported HTML file, select it, and click Open.

Click Done to complete the import.
Your imported favorites will usually appear in a new folder on your Favorites bar named "Imported" or "Other bookmarks."

Click Bookmarks in the menu that appears.

At the bottom of the submenu, click Manage Bookmarks (or press $Ctrl+Shift+B$ on Windows/$Cmd+Shift+B$ on Mac). This opens the Library window.

In the Library window, click Import and Backup.

Select Export Bookmarks to HTML....

A Save As window will open. Choose a memorable location, name the HTML file (e.g.,
Firefox_Bookmarks_2025_11_26.html), and click Save.
Your Firefox bookmarks are now securely saved in an HTML file.
